Apple Bloom and Scootaloo.
Came in a box with Cheerilee and Sweetie Belle. I styled their hair. They came with the standard Hasbro flowing locks. I actually have another Scootaloo so I wasn’t too uneasy about cutting this one’s mane. I’ll have another go later to try and get the long bit at the front to sit down. I used UHU glue stick to style Scootlaloo so it would be permanent.
Next I’ll tackle Sweetie Belle’s curls and the couple of Pinkie Pies I have too.
Blossom’s First Bath - in 30 years!!
This is Blossom. She is a 100% genuine first generation My Little Pony, the very first pony (and up until about 6 months ago, the only pony) I ever owned. I’ve had her since I was about 7 or 8.
I was taking pictures of my collection for a newly initiated Brony (Seb age 8) when I realised how grotty she was! I gently took to her with a soft, damp, lightly soaped cloth. I didn’t want to risk lifting any of the paint from her face or cutie mark. I didn’t have much success! (The dirt seems worse in the pics!)
I suppose dirt and marks are the equivalent to wrinkles for toys. Her hair, as you can see, is in absolutely perfect condition. Anyway, I think she’s beautiful. And no, collectors, I will not part with her for all the tea in China!
